Cara menjalankan versi NodeJS tertentu tanpa melakukan downgrade
mrfdn.com – Terkadang dalam proyek yang sedang berjalan kami memiliki versi NodeJS.
Lalu lama kelamaan NodeJS mendapat sesuatu yang baru, lalu saat aplikasi dijalankan malah error.
Ini karena dependensi kami mungkin memerlukan versi NodeJS tertentu.
Biasanya cara melakukannya adalah dengan menginstal versi NodeJS.
Misalnya kita menggunakan NodeJS versi 20, maka aplikasi kita memerlukan NodeJS versi 10 untuk diinstal.
Jadi kita install NodeJS versi 10 untuk bisa menjalankan aplikasinya.
Namun saat ini hal tersebut tidak perlu dilakukan, karena ada cara yang mudah.
Jalankan saja perintah ini:
npx node@10 -v v10.24.1
Anda dapat menjalankan perintah ini langsung di direktori proyek nodejs Anda.
npx node@10 app.js
Kemudian jika Anda ingin menginstal paket berdasarkan NPM versi lama, lakukan hal berikut:
npx npm@10 install
Oleh karena itu, Anda tidak perlu menginstal versi nodejs secara global, karena versi nodejs ini hanya akan berjalan di direktori proyek nodejs yang sedang berjalan.
Ini berarti menjalankan NodeJS versi apa pun tanpa melakukan downgrade.
